Director Jarrett has spent the last 23 years as General Manager of Big Sioux Community Water System, a regional water system serving Lake and Moody counties in eastern South Dakota. During his tenure the system has expanded to serve the towns of Flandreau, Madison, Colman, Chester, and Trent, as well as providing process water to Dakota Ethanol near Wentworth, South Dakota, and to a 3,600 head dairy in northern Moody County. In 2010, the system added a state-of-the-art membrane water treatment plant designed to accommodate the increase in potable water demand from the communities around Lake Madison and Lake Brant. The system also provides wastewater service to the towns of Egan, Wentworth, and Chester.
